Joshi will inaugurate the National Cooperative Masala Fair on Friday.

Jaipur. Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Dr. CP Joshi will inaugurate the National Cooperative Spices Fair-2023 on Friday.

Dr. Joshi will inaugurate this spice fair organized till May 7 at Jawahar Kala Kendra at 5 pm. Cooperative Minister Udayalal Anjana, Agriculture Minister Lalchand Kataria and Higher Education Minister Rajendra Singh Yadav will also be present on this occasion. The residents of Jaipur will be able to buy spices from the country and the state at more than 100 stalls in the spice fair being organized by the Cooperative Department.

Mr. Anjana told that due to the necessity of daily consumption of spices, chemical and other adulterated spices adversely affect the health of the common man, to avoid them, Rajasthan is the only state in the country, which has been organizing Sahakar Spice Fair for the last several years. Has been taking initiative to provide pure spices.

He said that the Sahakar Masala Fair to be held in Jaipur has now acquired a national character and the people of Jaipur look forward to this fair.Registrar of the department Meghraj Singh Ratnu told that apart from Rajasthan, other states especially Punjab, Uttarakhand, Tamil Nadu, Cooperative organizations from other states including Kerala are bringing spices.

He informed that Sahakar Masala Mela will be organized from 28 April to 7 May at Jawahar Kala Kendra from 11 am to 9 pm. Admission to the fair has been kept free. He told that in the National Cooperative Spices Fair organized in Jaipur, apart from providing whole ground spices by major cooperative organizations of all divisions, arrangements will also be made to make available ground spices on the spot. Shade-water and other arrangements have also been made at the fair site.

Managing Director Rajasthan State Cooperative Land Development Bank and Chairman of Fair Management Committee Vijay Sharma said that area specific products will be available for sale in the Sahakar Masala Fair. In which Bhinmal’s cumin, Nagaur’s Dana Methi, Green Fenugreek, Ramganj Mandi’s Coriander, Jodhpur’s Mathania, Sawai Madhopur and Tonk’s Chili, Bhinder’s Ajwain, Bhusavar and Bhilwara’s pickles, many types of papad-mangodi of women’s co-operative societies, Pickles and other products will be available.

Apart from this, Uphaar brand spices of Consumer Union, Boondi and Baran rice, Tilam Union oil, Amla products, syrup, juice and many other products will be made available. Onion of Sikar, Garlic of Chittorgarh and many other products will be displayed in the fair.
