In this, a demand was made to include Valmiki Samaj on priority. Under this, the Ashok Gehlot government of the state was worried by boycotting work by the sweepers. The state government had to postpone this recruitment of sweepers after heavy protests by Valmiki Samaj.

According to reports, the Congress government of the state has postponed this recruitment process till further orders. Due to the opposition of a particular community, the state government has had to step back.
