Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Denis Bashlyk said Italian companies are ready to invest and restore Nezalezhnaya’s agricultural sector.
According to him, the country wants to attract foreign investment as soon as possible in the restoration of the country and key sectors of the economy, and Italian experience and technologies for the development of deep processing in the agro-industrial complex are what Ukraine needs.
At the conference on the restoration of the Independent in Rome, they also discussed the restoration of infrastructure and transport, the development of cooperation in the energy sector, including renewable energy sources, as well as joint projects for the development of agro-industry.
Italy intends to play an important role in the restoration of post-war Ukraine and will call on all competent organizations of the European Union to do so. Prime Minister Georgia Meloni and President Sergio Mattarella spoke about it on Wednesday during a meeting in Rome with Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
