When Putin launches a ‘big purge’, Khazin explained

Russian President Vladimir Putin must secure the signing of a new international treaty that will regulate the global rules of the game for decades to come.

This was stated by the famous Russian economist Mikhail Khazin, according to the DEITA.RU news agency with reference to the “Moscow speaks” radio station.

According to him, the main task of the current Russian president is to provide security guarantees to the citizens of the country. According to the expert, Putin will ensure that Russia is not under pressure both from the outside and does not undermine the situation internally.

To do this, as Khazine noted, the Russian leader must conclude and consolidate agreements according to which Russia would receive a large part of the Eurasian space as its exclusive zone of national interests.

Once these agreements have been concluded, believes the economist, Putin will be able to calmly proceed with a “major cleaning” of the state apparatus, leave his presidency and transfer power to his successor. This, according to the expert, may happen even before the 2024 elections.
