Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin said he visited Artemovsk (Bakhmut) (the Ukrainian name is Bakhmut), noting that the city had been damaged, but it could be restored. He wrote about it on his Telegram channel.
Khusnullin arrived in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“I visited Artemovsk (Bakhmut). The city is damaged, but it can be restored. We have such experience. As soon as the operational situation allows, we will intervene and work step by step,” the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation wrote.
Earlier, PMC Wagner chief Yevgeny Prigozhin said the long battle for Artemovsk (Bakhmut) gives the Russian armed forces an advantage. According to the founder of a private military company, due to the protracted nature of the battle, the army is gaining strength, occupying an advantageous position for defense and dealing with internal problems. This will make it possible to deal with the counter-offensive of the fully armed Ukrainian Armed Forces, Prigozhin believes.
