If there is a number written in front of your GNWL, it means that there are many people with tickets waiting ahead of you.
What does TQWL mean?
For example, if GNWL28 is written, it means that 27 more people have tickets waiting before you, when their seats are confirmed, then you will get tickets in the train as well. Whereas, TQWL is written on the Tatkal waiting ticket.
Which passengers get the confirmed ticket first?
Let us tell you that passengers with general waiting get the first seat in the waiting list. Only after this the waiting people get the seat immediately. Please tell that the chances of getting a seat for those who wait immediately are less. If your tatkal waiting list is not confirmed by the time of chart preparation, your ticket is automatically cancelled.
