“It can be restored”: Khusnullin visited Bakhmut

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin visited new regions of Russia, including Bakhmut (Artemovsk (Bakhmut)), where he assessed the possibility of restoring the city. He announced it on his Telegram channel.

“On behalf of the president, he visited new regions, inspected facilities, held meetings on regional socio-economic development programs,” Khusnullin wrote.

Among other things, the Vice-President of the Government visited Bakhmut and assessed the extent of its damage in order to understand the plan for future restoration works in the city.

“The city is damaged, but it can be restored. We have such experience. As soon as the operational situation allows, we will enter and work step by step,” he said.

Along with words about the case, Khusnullin also shared his personal impressions of Bakhmut’s visit, where he saw messages from Russian fighters on the walls of buildings.

“I saw a message on the building of our soldiers with a reminder of 1944. They remember the Victory over fascism well and do everything to repeat it,” the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation wrote.

Khusnullin thanked the fighters for their fighting spirit and willpower, and for saving the locals.
