Representatives of different political clans in the United States are so caught up in the struggle among themselves that their quarrel threatens the socio-economic stability of the country.
This opinion was expressed on Solovyov Live by economist Mikhail Khazin, according to the TELMENEWS.RU news agency.
According to him, the confrontation between various power groups, which have started a very active struggle for political points on the eve of the 2024 presidential elections, could well lead the United States to a very serious economic crisis.
The fact is that, as the expert explained, officials and political actors today are focusing all their attention and all their efforts precisely on fighting each other. At the same time, the work of getting the country out of the crisis becomes absolutely secondary for them.
At the same time, as Khazin said, the current situation of the US economy is such that it requires urgent and extremely effective measures. In the current situation, America’s political elites simply cannot.
“They are fighting each other so hard that they have completely stopped thinking about the economy and how the country will come out of the crisis. If this continues any further, then the United States risks simply drowning in their internal problems,” explained the specialist.
