Acting DPR chief Denis Pushilin said Russian units had improved their positions in the Krasnogorovka region towards Avdeevsky. The bridgehead has been widened towards the railway, he said on Channel One.

“We see that in the Krasnogorovka region there is an improvement in the positions (of Russian forces) and an expansion of the bridgehead towards the railway,” Pushilin stressed.

He added that the Russian forces had also improved their positions in the Pervomaisky region and in the direction of Nevelskoye, Thin. This is where the Ukrainian army is bombing Donetsk from.

According to the head of the region, a less significant improvement in positions, but with a noticeable forward movement, also occurred in the direction of Mayorsk and Dzerzhinsk.

“There is a positional confrontation in the direction of Krasnolimansky, without any changes, there is a constant reflection of the enemy’s counterattack attempts,” Pushilin clarified.

Earlier, Denis Pushilin said that on April 23, the cities of the DPR were again fired upon by the enemy. Due to incidents in Nizhnyaya Krynka (Sovetsky district of Makeevka), two young women died – they were 30 and 38 years old. A total of 100 civilians have been killed by Ukrainian militants since the start of 2023, he said.
