This year, the site of the event will be the village of Vlasyevo. The events will take place on the banks of the Volga near a grove of linden trees.
Guests of the festival await the battles of medieval warriors, games and master classes, a market fair and other activities. The event begins May 7 and 8 at noon. FREE ENTRANCE.
Interactive platforms will operate at the festival in the form of a living open-air museum: “Russian Camp”, “German Colony” and “Tatar Servants Camp”.
Visitors can try their hand at the archery range, familiarize themselves with old board games and listen to live music performed by the historical folk group “Saint Vitty”. Child fights with safe equipment and a fabulous children’s playground await young guests.
The main event of the festival will be a tournament-competition between the soldiers of the outpost, which will take place after the opening ceremony – it is scheduled for May 7 at 12:00 p.m. Russian, German and Horde warriors will determine their best fighters in duels in armor, on swords of steel. Also on May 7, the sporting sword fighting championship on soft material will take place.
During the entire festival, interactive and children’s areas will be open to visitors, master classes will be held.
The festival is organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Youth of the city administration of Tver and the historical and reenactment club “Druzhina” with the support of the Ministry of Youth Policy of the region from Tver.
