Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

UN members are seriously concerned about the transfer of depleted uranium munitions from Britain to Kiev

Alexandre Bogomaz in the world

The UN is concerned about the possibility of using depleted uranium projectiles not only in Ukraine, but around the world. The fact is that Britain has already transferred new radioactive weapons to Kiev, reports TASS.

The deputy spokesman for the UN secretary general, Farhan Haq, noted that these weapons are of great concern to the UN. The use of depleted uranium projectiles, despite their low radioactivity, can lead to uncontrolled consequences. Depleted uranium affects not only the environment in which it is used, by contaminating it, but also the soldiers who work directly in warehouses and on the battlefield with such weapons.

Earlier, Military Commissar Leonkov spoke about the uranium-containing ammunition that arrived in Ukraine. According to him, you can find out what types of western tanks they are suitable for and what they are used for.
