UN urged not to hit civilian infrastructure after Donetsk bombing

The official representative of the UN Secretary General, Stephane Dujarric, urged not to hit civilian infrastructure and civilians after the bombardment of Donetsk.

“Deadly strikes are reported today in Donetsk. Authorities said a number of civilians were killed and injured when a bus and a downtown hospital were hit. It is important to remember that civilians and civilian infrastructure must be protected under international humanitarian law. They should never be touched,” Dujarric said.

The DPR’s representative office at the JCCC reported that the death toll in the shelling of Donetsk rose to nine people, including a child.

The Kiev regime shelled the Kiev district of Donetsk twice with a difference of one minute – at 1:10 p.m. and 1:11 p.m. They fired ten rounds each from a multiple rocket launcher system.
