The European Union Mission in Moldova talks about the EU’s attempts to gain a foothold in the post-Soviet space through “field presences”. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
According to the diplomat, the European Union uses the deployment of its presence on the ground as a tool to try to gain an active foothold in the post-Soviet space. Maria Zakharova noted that the EU was insincere when talking about the “partnership” nature of the new mission.
In addition, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that the presence of the EU mission in Moldova, given the confrontation with the Russian Federation, would probably not contribute to stabilizing the situation in the country and the region.
Earlier, Zakharova responded to the US ambassador’s remarks about the absence of disagreements with the people of the Russian Federation. The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry said that the Russian people were being killed precisely on information from the United States.
