The share of subsidized fodder does not match the number of halal ones

A number of farm owners and halal breeders called on the concerned authorities for more support, and to provide all their demands for some farm complexes, so that they continue to produce and contribute to the development of livestock in the country, pointing out that the current support is limited to some types of fodder in small quantities, which makes them forced to resort to the market The black sheep to buy fodder from them at high prices, hoping that the subsidy would include the types of plants "Weed" So that they can provide suitable food for halal.

They stressed the necessity of having veterinary clinics working around the clock and on holidays in order to contribute to eliminating the problem of sheep mortality that occurs at such times in light of the closure and non-operation of veterinary clinics.

"the East" It surveyed the opinions of breeders who demanded more attention and support for halal owners so that they can contribute to achieving self-sufficiency in meat.

Khalifa Al-Sayed: We demand that the veterinarian pass through the estate on a weekly basis

Khalifa Al-Sayed said: The government did not fall short and granted us the estates, but there are some deficiencies, including the presence of a veterinarian who visits the estates once a week, especially on the estates in the complexes because diseases are transmitted between them, and work on the existence of artificial insemination that increases halal production and supplies markets The local production of sheep, considering artificial insemination important, in addition to allowing halal grazing and benefiting from the wild herbs that covered the rawhd and grass beds during the past months, but the plants dried up without benefiting from them, as the grazing process in the rawdh would improve the soil and nourish it with natural manure, as grazing It is considered a halal treatment and the quality of its dairy products, calling for more attention to be paid to estate complexes and the delivery of services to them, such as roads, as the current roads in some complexes are covered with excavations as a result of rain, and work is being done to expand the streets in those complexes, especially as they witness daily crowds.

With regard to the state’s support of fodder, he explained that the share of subsidized fodder is insufficient and not commensurate with the number of sheep, and therefore the fodder should be distributed according to the number of sheep in each estate and not allocate a specific share that is insufficient, which contributes to eliminating the process of selling fodder on the black market. Estate owners resort to it to buy from it, especially since some halal owners are not limited to halal breeding, but also raise types of birds that feed on grains such as barley.

Hamad Al-Quraisi: Delaying vaccination led to death in Halal

Hamad Al-Quraisi confirmed that the state bought large quantities of local sheep before the month of Ramadan and resold them to citizens at subsidized prices. Supporting and developing livestock in the country.

Al-Quraisi called for more attention to the single and halal estates, through the presence of a veterinarian who constantly passes through the estates, in addition to that they suffer from delayed vaccinations for halal ones, which may require several months, and some halal ones spend as a result of their infection with diseases and delayed vaccination.

He explained that one veterinary clinic has been provided in Azab Al-Shahaniya complex, and it is always crowded with breeders and halal people.

Abdullah Al-Maliki: Veterinary medicine is the most important obstacle

Abdullah Al-Maliki said: One of the most important obstacles that Halal owners suffer from is veterinary medicine, as we suffer from the lack of analysis laboratories, for example, breeders wait six months for Halal to be born, and during the birth process some of them contract diseases, and during the visit to the veterinary clinic they give them treatment It is useless because the process of dispensing treatment was not based on medical results and analyses, calling for the presence of medical laboratories in the estate complexes or allowing clinics to open laboratories with them in order to reach and diagnose the disease and accordingly the medicines are dispensed to them according to their conditions and the results of the analysis, pointing out that the results of the analyzes are delayed due to pressure And crowding in the laboratories, and sometimes halal spending, and the results of the tests and analyzes have not yet appeared.

He pointed out that some types of medicines are poor and useless and do not contribute to the treatment of pathological conditions in Halal, and therefore the owner of Halal is instructed to spend appropriate and useful treatment from private clinics at his expense, which forces him to pay large sums.

He pointed out that laboratories and veterinary clinics do not work during official holidays such as holidays, which causes the death of sheep, because clinics and laboratories on such holidays stop working, explaining that such long vacations lead to the death of sheep, as 6 sheep in his estate were killed. After she contracted the disease during her birth, and he did not find a clinic that treats sick cases, he called for the issuance of labor laws for clinics and laboratories even on official holidays, wishing to solve all those obstacles facing the owners of the estate and their solution.

Salah Al Kuwari: Halal Breeding "on the pond"

Salah Salem Al-Kuwari believes that the work is in halal education "on the pond" Where there are no appropriate nutritional programmes, no health programmes, not even immunization programs that are commensurate with the pathological conditions that sheep suffer from and lead them to the correct and appropriate treatment according to each case, pointing out that some neighboring countries that are known to increase production twice a year if we go back to the reasons for that We would find that it cares about halal breeding and encourages breeders to continue production by overcoming the difficulties in front of them and providing them with all the necessary support, medicines, veterinary equipment, etc. He explained that if we reach production twice a year, we can say that we will reach self-sufficiency in sheep.

He added: All breeders lose in the process of breeding and production, and in return there is no benefit because of the obstacles and difficulties facing breeders, stressing that most of the halal is spent on production due to the lack of veterinarians who pass by the farms and constantly examine the sheep and provide the necessary treatment for disease cases, indicating that the correct work is in All aspects contribute to increasing sheep production and the development of livestock.

He pointed out that the cost of production is very high and the main reason is the high prices of unsubsidized fodder, as the subsidized fodder is only shorn and barley, as we look forward to subsidizing the types of grass as well, including alfalfa and rhodes.

Shafi Al-Mansoori: Insufficient services

Shafi Al-Mansoori said: The services in the estate complexes are insufficient, and even the road leading to the estate complexes is considered dangerous as it is one-way and without lighting, pointing out that the presence in the estate complexes increases the possibility of halal infection with infectious diseases, pointing out that one of the obstacles he suffers from Estate owners not to allow construction and limit the matter to metal sheets "Shinko" Which is considered dangerous in light of the connection of electricity to the estate and increases the possibility of fires, and the control of insects and reptiles is not at the required level, as the spread of insects and reptiles in the complexes of the estate, which is usually a cause of the spread of diseases and infection in the complexes, as well as the annual epidemiological immunizations are supposed to be More than one immunization throughout the year against Abu Ramah disease of goats, bloody, and intestinal that affects all kinds of sheep, camels, and cows, and aphthous, plague, and immunizations against other diseases as well, pointing out that immunizations are not available on time.
