Actor and TV presenter, Honored Artist of Russia Sergei Kolesnikov has died aged 68. RIA Novosti was told about it by his wife.

As Kolesnikova’s widow noted, everything happened this morning. The causes of death have not yet been specified.

Sergei Kolesnikov was born on January 4, 1955 in Moscow. He became popular after his acting work in the series “Petersburg Secrets” and “Truckers”. He acted in the films “Die Hard – 5”, “Black Sea”, “Frozen Souls” and in the popular TV series “McMafia” in the UK. On television, he hosted the program Fazenda.

Earlier it became known that Soviet and Ukrainian actor Alexander Tartyshnikov died at the age of 80. It happened on April 18. The details were reported by the Kharkiv State Theater named after Shevchenko.
