Daniel Williams, one, took the small black bag from Princess Kate, wife of William and heiress to the British throne, and continued to play with it while the princess talked to her mother, Lucy.
And Lucy asked her child, who was carrying it on her arm, to return the bag to the princess, and she tried to take it from him before the princess indicated he could keep it, while waving at the rest recipients.
When Kate turned her back on them, Lucy told her son, “Don’t put it in your mouth now.”
It happened as William and Kate, the Prince and Princess of Wales, visited the village of Aberfan to commemorate a landslide which destroyed a primary school and killed 144 people in 1944.
