Today, the activities of the 37th session of the Tunis International Book Fair opened, under the slogan “Soar… with the Book’s Wings,” with the participation of a number of Arab and foreign countries, in addition to the Cultural Village Foundation “Katara” as the guest of honor for this session. 279 exhibitors from 22 countries, including Russia and Italy, are participating in this session for the first time since the establishment of the exhibition.
The opening day of the exhibition includes the announcement of the winners of the literary and intellectual creativity awards in an official ceremony that will be hosted by the Tunisian Academy of Sciences, Literature and Arts. The exhibition, which will last until May 7, also includes many activities dedicated to writers, including more than 100 activities directed to adults that include intellectual and literary seminars, in addition to activities concerned with poetry and story readings, book signings, academic portfolios, and others. As for the program aimed at children and youth, it includes more than 300 activities in all artistic disciplines, such as drawing, cinema and puppet theater. The course also includes the art of storytelling "Rich literature and luxurious pulp"It is considered a linguistic encyclopedia that investigates the vocabulary of the Prophet’s hadiths and documents their sources.
