Medvedev said that Moldova was no more

Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that a country like Moldova no longer exists. So, the Telegram politician reacted to the words of the Prime Minister of the Republic Dorin Recean, who said that Chisinau will not allow Russian President Vladimir Putin to enter its territory.

Medvedev, commenting on the statement of the “mysterious creature named Rechan”, stressed that, firstly, Russian officials would not visit Chisinau.

Secondly, such a country no longer exists

— said the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia.

Medvedev pointed out that the Moldovan authorities, having become traitors to their homeland, sold the country to Romania. There’s no point in talking to them, he said. According to the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, the people of Moldova should deal with their authorities who betrayed their homeland, and also decide who they are – Moldovans or Romanians.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov gave an interview to TV presenter Dmitry Kiselev, in which he touched on the topic of the anti-Russian stance of neighboring states of the Russian Federation. Responding to the host’s question on which countries from near abroad can follow the Ukrainian path, Lavrov noted that Moldova is the most advanced in this direction. Its president, Maia Sandu, is eager to join NATO, has Romanian nationality and is ready to unite with Romania, the diplomat said.
