Installing a fence in a summer cottage for residents of Russia can lead to a large fine, lawyer Alexandra Obryvko told RIA Novosti on this subject.

The fact is that gardeners can be fined if their fence interferes with the flow of light to the plot of neighbors.

But we are talking about the fence, which is installed between the lands. If there is written consent from the owners of neighboring plots, you can install fences of various types or completely remove them.

Such an agreement between neighbors in the country would have to be approved by the board of directors of the garden in non-profit partnership (SNT).

A common violation is the squatting of part of the neighboring area. By law, even if you touch even a few centimeters of the nearby area, it is called squatting. In this case, in addition to dismantling the fence, you will be fined up to 1.5% of the cadastral value of the land, but not less than 5,000 rubles for citizens and 100,000 rubles for legal entities.

Earlier we wrote that, according to Russians, a dream cottage requires investments from 900,000 to a million rubles.
