Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Will come clean from the accused – Brij Bhushan

Gonda. Wrestling Federation of India president and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh on Saturday claimed that he would come out clean from the allegations of sexual harassment leveled by wrestlers.

Accusing the Congress and big industrialists of being involved in the whole matter, he said that Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi does not even have complete information about the matter. Speaking to reporters at his ancestral residence, Singh said, “I have full faith in the judiciary.” The investigating agency will bring me and my supporters to justice.

Brij Bhushan appealed to the investigating agency to investigate quickly and give a decision. The Federation has no role in the investigation, he said. The demand of wrestlers is changing everyday. My resignation means accepting the charge. My term is coming to an end. Don’t leave me as a criminal. My post will automatically end when the new body is formed.

He said that even before the report of the inquiry committee came, the wrestlers went to the Supreme Court. Brijbhushan asked, “Why was the minor not brought before the inquiry committee.” I respected the decision of the government and the committee. I did not get the post of MP because of the grace of Vinesh Phogat. It is noteworthy that wrestlers are protesting against Braj Bhushan at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on the allegation of sexual harassment.

The police have also registered a case in this regard on Friday. Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra supported the strike of wrestlers by reaching Jantar Mantar and accused Brij Bhushan Singh of patronizing power.
