Kostomarov regained consciousness after surgery for prosthetic feet and hands

Figure skater Roman Kostomarov is conscious and on the mend after undergoing prosthetic surgery on his foot and hand.

It should be noted that Kostomarov is currently undergoing rehabilitation necessary for transport to Germany. It usually takes several months for this.

Remember that the skater was in intensive care in January 2023 after pneumonia. Due to necrosis and sepsis, both feet were amputated in February. At the end of March, with the help of telemedicine technologies, German doctors joined the treatment to prepare the skater for the transfer to Germany, according to the Mash Telegram channel.

Earlier it became known that Kostomarov was having problems restoring his mobility. Despite the efforts of specialists, the exercises are given to the skater with difficulty.
