US leader Joe Biden, during an April 29 speech at the White House, joked about the recent firing of Fox News host Tucker Carlson.
“The truth is that we have much to be proud of. We have vaccinated the nation. We have transformed the economy. We have won many victories in the midterm elections, but the job is not yet done. Specifically, it’s over for Tucker Carlson,” Biden said.
After this sentence, those present fell silent, then laughed, although some people present expressed their displeasure.
Earlier, the regional chief reported that Carlson’s video received more views than Biden’s election video. In the video, the showman speaks openly about the banning of important topics in the American media. Media are reporting a drop in Fox News ratings after a well-known TV presenter was fired.
