BOYNEXTDOOR is a six-member boy group under KOZ Entertainment that is set to debut in late May. The guys have not yet shown themselves on the world stage and have not even had time to win over the South Korean audience, but they are already considered a serious threat to the established group Bangtan Boys. Is this really the case or should Bangtan not worry about being replaced?
According to the sasaengs, the BTS group is not very happy to have new competitors. Additionally, the guys are now forced to temporarily leave the music industry due to the need to serve in the military, which means that newcomers will have a chance to take advantage of this “gap” of BTS and conquer the public. However, I would like to hear the official comments from the soloists, as the lyrics of the sasaengs are not a reliable source.
In all objectivity, it is difficult to draw definitive conclusions when we know almost nothing about the upcoming release. We don’t know the personality of the new musicians, we don’t know if they are capable of revealing their talents under the pressure of external circumstances. But given the merits of “Bangtan” and the whole history that connects ARMY fans to BTS, you can be sure the guys can’t be moved from their place in the music industry.
