Candy added, in an interview with the economic agency “Bloomberg”, that the attractiveness of Western capitals such as London is fading for the owners of enormous wealth, and therefore they have started to travel to other places such as the United Arab Emirates.
He expected his new project in Dubai to break the records set by his London project, “One Hyde Park”, in terms of price, a project which contributed to his international fame.
And he considered that Dubai is one of the new destinations in the world which attracts capital more than ever.
He said that capital is flowing into Dubai from several parts of the world, such as Eastern and Western Europe, Russia, India and Russia, as well as from the United States, but in to a lesser extent due to geographical distance.
He pointed out that Dubai and the United Arab Emirates stand out for their wonderful lifestyle and excellent family environment, explaining that they have radically developed the fields of education and medical care over the past decade, with incredible infrastructure.
He added: “I admire the United Arab Emirates, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.”
