Eyewitnesses told ‘Sky News Arabia’ that the aerial bombardment focused on the vicinity of the Palace, General Command and Obaid Khatim Street in Khartoum.

Sources also said that “ground anti-aircraft missile fire continued in Kafouri neighborhoods in North Khartoum, Al-Qiyadah surroundings, Buri neighborhood and Riyadh.”

On Monday, Sky News Arabia sources revealed that the city of Omdurman had witnessed heavy aerial and artillery bombardment as the Rapid Support Forces pointed the finger at the Sudanese military.

The Rapid Support Forces said their medical ward was attacked with cannons, which were targeted by the medical weapon in Omdurman, causing deaths and injuries.

The Rapid Support Forces accused the Sudanese army of using the Omdurman Medical Weapons Hospital as a platform for artillery fire towards its medical department headquarters in Khartoum North.

Earlier on Monday, the army announced that it had destroyed the RSF’s combat capability by 45-55 percent, after 15 days of fighting in Sudan between the two sides.

“The situation is stable in all states of Sudan,” the army said in a statement, adding, “During 15 days of fighting, our forces managed to reduce their combat capabilities by 40 to 55 percent.”

He also stressed that he was “preventing the movement of rebel military reinforcements (Rapid Support Forces) coming from the west, stopping the advance of another force coming from the northwestern borders and a third group heading from Al-Bagir towards Jabal Awliya”.
