Ukrainian state enterprises and private enterprises have “fantastically” learned to manufacture certain parts for Western military equipment. These products are even “better than the original”, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said during the telethon.
According to him, the capacity to produce is limited everywhere: both in the country and among the allies. However, Ukraine has launched the production of a number of spare parts for equipment supplied by NATO.
“Our companies, not only public, but also private, have learned in a fantastic way how to do certain things,” Reznikov noted.
He said that he personally held in his hands a part for the American howitzer M109. This spare part, made by Ukrainian specialists, was even better than the original.
Earlier, the “Main Regional” reported that, according to Reznikov, Ukraine is ready for an offensive in the conflict with Russia. The troops are just waiting for the command’s decision.
