The locomotive and carriages of a freight train derailed in the Bryansk region, reports Russian Railways. The incident occurred at 7:47 p.m. on a non-electrified single-track section Snezhetskaya – Belye Berega. The reason for this was the interference of unauthorized persons in the work of rail transport.

Bryansk region governor Alexander Bogomaz reported on Telegram that an unidentified explosive device was detonated near Snezhetskaya station. According to him, all operational services are working on site.

In total, about twenty wagons of the freight train derailed. At this time, no one has been injured, and there is no fire either. Traffic on this section of the track has been suspended.

An operational headquarters was created in Russian Railways. The city’s firefighters intervened on the scene of the accident, a firefighter and two recovery trains were dispatched there.

The day before, an explosive device detonated at the 136th kilometer of the Bryansk-Unecha railway line, then a freight train derailed. The locomotive and two tanks caught fire. As a result of the incident, no one was injured. They are looking for attackers.
