A special recommendation program for the cotton textile industry was held on May 1 in the third phase of the 133rd China Import-Export Fair. More than 30 enterprises recommended more than 300 kinds of cotton textile products from Xinjiang to global traders. A mass signing ceremony was also organized in the programme. More than 100 Chinese-overseas buyers participated in it and the intended amount reached 570 million yuan.
The entrepreneur who attended the event said that he held talks with businessmen from Canada, East Timor and Turkey. Will keep contact with them in future and expand the market. It is said that Xinjiang is an important cotton production area in China. In recent years, progress has been made in the production, quality, mechanization and intelligence of cotton in Xinjiang. The superiority and inherent power of the cotton business in Xinjiang is growing. The China Import-Export Fair is an important platform for the promotion of cotton produced in Xinjiang.
