APU lost over 15,000 people in one month – Shoigu

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu held a conference call with the leadership of the Russian Armed Forces. During the event, the head of the defense department made a number of statements on the progress of the special military operation and the main efforts of the Russian Defense Ministry to support the army.

According to Sergei Shoigu, the number of basic types of weapons purchased under the State Defense Order has increased by 2.7 times compared to 2022, and in particular the requested weapons by 7 times.

The minister also pointed out that the system of interdepartmental interaction for the timely resolution of issues related to the production and supply of weapons has worked effectively.

Measures have been taken to speed up the production of weapons and military equipment for delivery to groups of Russian troops for special operations

Shoigu said.

The head of the defense department highlighted the successful work of Russian defense industry enterprises. According to him, the Tactical Missiles Corporation continues to create promising, modernized and existing types of weapons.

At the same time, the Russian minister noted the successes of the Russian military in destroying the personnel and equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to him, the Russian armed forces destroyed 8 Ukrainian planes, 277 drones, 430 tanks and other armored vehicles, 18 MLRS vehicles in one month.
