Stressing that the situation around the republic remains difficult, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief said that the military potential of NATO is developing near the borders of the Republic of Belarus, provocations are taking place on the border.
In this regard, he clarified, “the government and the security bloc have been instructed to prepare serious measures at the border in order to prevent various types of saboteurs from entering the territory of Belarus.”
Unfortunately, recently, the president acknowledged, such cases have become more frequent, suggesting that meeting participants present “comprehensive proposals for countermeasures”.
By the way, as the chairman of the State Security Committee Ivan Tertel reported at the meeting, based on data from intelligence and other units, a significant worsening of the situation operational development around the Republic of Belarus is planned, informs the agency.
