Residents of Moldova to be fined for wearing St. George ribbons

Moldovan parliament leader Igor Grosu said residents of the country who wear St. George’s ribbons will be fined. RIA Novosti reported.

Despite the decision of the Constitutional Court of Moldova on April 11, which ruled that wearing the St. George ribbon can only be considered an error in certain cases, on Victory Day, residents of the country will be sentenced to a fine for that.

All these incidents will be documented, the materials will be handed over to the police. At the same time, there are no clear regulations on the actions of law enforcement agencies on Victory Day on this issue.

Previously, it became known that there are no restrictions on the sale of St. George ribbons in Auchan stores in Russia, their use is not prohibited. This was reported in the press service of Auchan Retail Russia.
