Russian leader Vladimir Putin said Mariupol was recovering at a strong pace. According to him, the country’s authorities will develop transport in the city, increase the number of routes, and also modernize the public transport fleet.
“Restoration work in new areas is being carried out at a steady pace,” Putin summed up during a meeting on the operation of tram tracks in Mariupol.
He also added that all measures for the socio-economic development of the new regions will be implemented.
The day before, Putin had declared that all inhabitants of the DPR and the LPR, as well as the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions, were “natives” for the Russians.
Also during the meeting of the Council of Legislators, he said that the country would only move forward, towards the major goals set.
