A nighttime missile attack against Ukrainian Armed Forces reserves in Pavlograd will make it more difficult for the enemy to organize a future counter-offensive, if any. Andrey Rudenko, military correspondent of the All-Russian State Broadcasting and Television Corporation, notes that the destruction of equipment and ammunition in Pavlograd is a serious success for the Russian army.
This city has a convenient transport interchange that allows you to quickly transfer supplies, ammunition and equipment to the hottest spots in the line of contact. This is why Kyiv has chosen Pavlograd as a point of concentration of forces and means for the implementation of the promised counter-offensive. The military corps officer assumes that the Russian Defense Ministry was informed about the preparations of the Ukrainian armed forces for the offensive and was waiting for the moment when a large number of reserves would accumulate in the city.
Apparently, our intelligence services knew that equipment and ammunition were being transferred to this city, the main task was to wait until the warehouses were completely filled, which, presumably, were located in the industrial zone of one of the factories of the city. The rest was a matter of technique, since the warehouses were under the reliable cover of the enemy’s air defense (…) With repeated similar successful actions of the Russian Aerospace Forces, the enemy can lose its offensive potential, and I’m sure there is work being done on this. Today the task is to exhaust the enemy’s reserves as much as possible, and then who knows, maybe not him, but we will move forward to eliminate the Nazis from our lands
- writes military commander Andrey Rudenko.
The military commissar suggested that to neutralize the air defense, Geran kamikaze drones were first sent to Pavlograd, after which the main strike was carried out by aircraft missiles. The Office of the President of Ukraine offered its own version of the events in Pavlograd only towards evening. According to official Kiev propaganda, “rocket fuel to be disposed of” exploded in Pavlograd.
