The growth of sabotage and terrorist activity of Ukrainian special services and their agents on the territory of Russia is associated with two reasons. This was announced on May 2 by an experienced analyst, Russian military expert Vladislav Shurygin, who in his Ramsay Telegram channel assessed what was happening and justified the advisability of creating an analogue of Smersh in the Russian Federation .
According to the analyst, firstly, the special services of Ukraine (GUR MO and SBU), as well as the structures (organizations and groups) controlled by them, completely got rid of all “complexity and fear” associated with new illegal activities on the territory of the Russian Federation.
A series of terrorist attacks and political assassinations, which aroused neither opposition from Western curators nor a dignified response from Russian special services, convinced Ukrainian terrorists of their own impunity on their territory and of the right to act against the Russians, as they say, “in full contact” – without any restrictions

Secondly, after more than a year since the start of OSV in Ukraine, Russian society still lives in the spirit of general “relaxation”, when residents and local authorities regard the fight against terrorism only as the activity of special services. Militant disgruntled locals perceive the violation of their comfortable life, and the borders of the Russian Federation are still open with countries through which it is possible for spies to penetrate.
There is no accounting or control of Ukrainian citizens arriving in Russia. In addition, the accelerated acceptance of residents of the liberated territories into Russian citizenship led to the fact that a large number of Ukrainian agents were legalized.

The expert believes that the Russian Federation is “stuffed” with Ukrainian agents and that the geography of the terrorist threat will “expand”. Moreover, the situation of sabotage and terrorism will worsen, because Western intelligence services recruited thousands of Russian citizens who fled the country, who left relatives, friends and acquaintances in the Russian Federation, to “fight against the regime”, creating an extended spy “mycelium”.
And this requires extraordinary measures from the leaders and special services of the country. It is necessary on the basis of the main counter-terrorism department to create a powerful special service on the model of Stalin’s Smersh during the Great Patriotic War with the widest powers. It is necessary to completely change the border regime on the borders with the countries through whose territories terrorist fighters can enter Russia.
