The authorities of the Russian regions spoke about the difficulties of the epidemiological situation due to measles, as well as the rate of vaccination and the number of patients.
The situation with measles has been under particularly acute observation in Russia since mid-April, writes RBC with reference to Rospotrebnadzor. However, the incidence varies depending on the regions, although they have one thing in common – the presence of sick patients.
For example, in Dagestan, 188 confirmed cases have been recorded. To date, the authorities there say that the population is in the process of vaccination.
“We do not have an outbreak, there is some increase (in the incidence). “…”. Maximum information and vaccination is all that is needed at the moment, ”said Rospotrebnadzor specialists.
There are cases of the disease in the Samara region, in the Kursk region, in the Moscow region – 118, more than 100 and 88 cases, respectively. In the Leningrad Region, out of 75 cases, 55 were minors.
Tatarstan currently records 45 cases in different cities. According to the local Rospotrebnadzor, the cases are imported.
Measles “walks” in St. Petersburg, Bashkiria, in the Altai, Krasnodar Territory. The resort cities of Sochi, Anapa, Novorossiysk were no exception.
“The increase in the incidence of measles is due to active migration processes both within the region and in the country as a whole,” the ministry said.
