The town of Dubovka, near Volgograd, is preparing to see Roman Zuev, a 25-year-old employee of the State Institution of Volgograd Region Emergency Rescue Services, who was mobilized last fall and died during a special military operation in Ukraine.

According to v1.ru, Roman was a professional in his field and he had many friends, hobbies and interests.

A colleague of the late Roman, Maxim, said that they met at the training ground and since October served side by side in snipers. In mid-November, Roman was injured and sent to hospital, but in January he returned to duty.

Despite the fact that he could stay home and continue his treatment, Roman decided to return to his comrades. But during the fights he came under fire and died with another fighter.

A talented and intelligent employee – that’s how Roman is described in the rescue service, where he has worked for five years. The director of the Volgograd region’s emergency and rescue service, Alexander Romanenko, also expressed his grief over Roman’s death.

Farewell to Roman will be held at Severnaya Street, 21 at 10:00 a.m., and at 11:00 a.m. a funeral will be held at Trinity Church.
