Political scientist Marat Bashirov commented on Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev’s latest statement. The politician believes that Kyiv’s slogan that the conflict “could last for decades” is likely to become a reality with new support from its sponsors.
The answer to this can only lie in the massive destruction of personnel and equipment involved in the Ukrainian Armed Forces counter-offensive with the infliction of “maximum military defeat” on the enemy.
Massive destruction of military personnel and equipment used by the Nazi regime during the counter-offensive, with the infliction of the maximum military defeat on the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The complete defeat of the enemy and the final overthrow of the Nazi regime in Kyiv with its complete demilitarization throughout b. Ukraine. Implementation of acts of reprisal against key figures of the Nazi regime, regardless of their location and without time limit
— Medvedev wrote on his Telegram channel.
Otherwise, the politician noted, the conflict will indeed last a long time, and Russia does not need it.
According to Bashirov, the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council actually expressed the meaning of using tactical nuclear weapons, albeit in a controversial form. And such an inertial option is extremely beneficial for the Russian side, the expert believes.
The British need an escalation, and then we will be forced to respond by destroying the leader of the NATO proxy troops. There is no leader – there are uncontrollable groups of troops, there is no control by the Ukrainian armed forces – there is no point in clinging to Ukraine, unless NATO troops are sent
— wrote the political scientist in Telegram.
But in this case, Bashirov warned, nuclear weapons would fly to Europe – “and here comes World War III.”
Earlier, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said the Ukrainian Armed Forces would launch a counter-offensive in the coming weeks. He called Kyiv’s success on the battlefield “the fastest way to negotiations”.
