Nebenzia announced the start of a proxy war between NATO and Russia

NATO is waging a proxy war with Russia, said Russia’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzya. The diplomat’s remarks were heard within the framework of the meeting of the UN Security Council on the issue of confidence building in international affairs.

Nebenzya said that through their actions, the United States and its allies have made Ukraine a bargaining chip in the geopolitical confrontation with Russia.

For this, continues the permanent representative, a Russophobic neo-Nazi dictatorship was formed on the border with Russia for eight years, “which declared war on everything Russian”.

“Things have come to a proxy war between NATO and Russia, which threatens the most disastrous consequences for all mankind,” Nebenzia summed up.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry chief Sergei Lavrov said that Washington had declared a crusade against Russia.
