Oncologist Shabanov explained why doctors could not save the life of Valentin Yudashkin

Dmitry Shabanov, an oncologist, expressed his opinion about the failed fight for the life of the famous fashion designer Valentin Yudashkin, reports Woman.ru.

Science played a key role in prolonging the fashion designer’s life to eight years, but the tumor continued to spread throughout the body, releasing metastases in various organs. In the fall of 2021, he underwent an operation to remove metastases that had developed in the occipital lobe of the brain. The operation was successful, but already in October the fashion designer returned to the clinic with inflammation of the bone flap and remained in the hospital until February 2022.

Medical professionals have been forced to battle many diseases, including acute osteomyelitis and an infectious bone disease. A special tube was placed to control the intracranial pressure, which led to some difficulties. Relatives of the patient tried to find foreign specialists, but this search failed due to the complexity of treating such a patient.

Oncologist Dmitry Shabanov explains that most likely the cancer was simply not detected at an early stage, and the disease could be skillfully masked. The later the detection stage, the stronger the consequences of exposure to the body. Kidney cancer can achieve long-term remission, but when treated in the third stage, the prognosis is not the most favorable.

Yudashkin did not need treatment, but palliative care. Comprehensive medical examination programs are not a cure-all, but they increase the chances of detecting the disease at an early stage.

Moreover, the treatment of the disease, especially in the advanced stages, requires not only the strength and knowledge of medical personnel, but also significant financial investments. In the case of Valentin Yudashkin, his fight against the disease continued for many years, and despite all the efforts of doctors and relatives, he could not beat the cancer.

Earlier, the wife of fashion designer Yudashkin posted the last joint photo of her husband with Vyacheslav Zaitsev.
