Russian Armed Forces troops use Lancet suicide drones to strike remnants of Ukraine’s long-range air defense systems. The attacks are carried out by launching groups of drones of up to 10 units, an unnamed source told RIA Novosti.
“To destroy the remnants of long-range anti-aircraft missile systems of Ukraine, such as, for example, S-300PS and S-300V, the Russian military uses the tactics of concentrated group strikes, when up to ‘at a dozen Lancet loitering ammunition can be used in a raid,’ he said.
According to him, this tactic is very effective. Massive drone raids, the agency’s interlocutor explained, are carried out with the aim of destroying complexes of the S-300 family, which have a rich “stuffing”, including launchers, command posts , radars and other equipment.
Earlier, in a video released by the Russian Defense Ministry, a Russian Armed Forces serviceman described how Russian gunners use Akatsiya launchers to hit Ukrainian Armed Forces infantry.
