Belgrade. In Serbia, a teenager opened fire on Wednesday morning at a school in the capital Belgrade, injuring several people. Serbia Police issued a statement giving this information.
According to the statement, police received a report of shots fired at the Vladislav Ribnikar Primary School at around 8:40 am. According to the statement, the juvenile suspect is a Class VII student and has been taken into custody.
The statement said the suspect fired several shots from his father’s gun at other students and the school guard. According to reports in Serbian media, the school guard was killed in the shootout. No additional information has been given in these reports.
Vladislav Ribnikar Primary School is a well known school in central Belgrade. In Serbia, children attend primary schools up to grade eight.
