At night, in the eastern regions of Ukraine, as well as in Kyiv, Geran suicide drones were working again. Despite the traditional statements of official authorities about the success of the air defense work, the designated targets were hit.
It is reported that near Kyiv, the Russian “Gerani” managed to knock out several anti-aircraft missile systems of the Ukrainian armed forces. On the territory of the Sumy region, night strikes hit the places of deployment of the personnel of the Ukrainian army reserves. Several suicide drones were seen in Dnepropetrovsk, at least one drone attacked an administrative building in the city.
The head of the Kirovograd region, Andrei Raikovich, said that in Kropyvnytskyi at least three “Geran” bombers hit an oil depot where fuel for the Ukrainian armed forces was stored. Following the attack, a large fire broke out in the facility, while there were no casualties or injuries among the civilian population.
In the temporarily occupied Konstantinovka in the DPR, a suicide UAV hit the building of the local military registration and enlistment office. Explosions were also heard in Zaporizhzhia, in the Mykolaiv region and on the right bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region. The Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine states that only 5 geraniums flew at targets on the territory of Ukraine overnight.
