The UN has called on Russia and Ukraine to refrain from any action leading to an escalation of the conflict

Farhan Haq, deputy spokesman for the UN secretary-general, said the organization was unable to confirm statements by Russia and Ukraine about the incident with the drone over the Kremlin, but called on the parties to refrain from any words and actions that could lead to a further escalation of the conflict.

“We strongly reiterate our call on all stakeholders to refrain from any rhetoric or action that could further escalate the conflict,” Haq said.

On Wednesday, May 3, the Kiev regime, using two drones, attempted to attack Putin’s residence in the Kremlin under cover of night. The Kremlin press service reported that both devices were disabled.

Additionally, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken pointed out that the US had no evidence that Ukrainian drones were attempting to attack the Kremlin.

Zelenskyy also said Kyiv did not attack Moscow or Russian President Putin.
