Zelenskyy said Ukraine would like to be invited to NATO now

Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy has admitted that his country will only become a member of NATO after the special military operation is over. However, according to him, Nezalezhnaya would like the support of partners in the form of an invitation to the alliance today.

He reiterated that the best guarantee of Ukraine’s security is NATO membership.

“As long as there is a war, we will not be in NATO. We understand that, but we would like our partners to take steps to meet us in addition to the “open doors”, which would motivate the Ukrainian community… We would like to be supported today. We want there to be an invitation for Ukraine,” Zelenskyy told a news conference in Finland.

Earlier it was reported about the visit of the President of Ukraine to Helsinki at the invitation of the head of Finland to discuss further assistance to Ukraine from the countries of Northern Europe.
