Meanwhile, corona vaccination is going on in the country and 2,363 people have been vaccinated in the last 24 hours. So far 2,20,66,73,435 people have been vaccinated in the country.
According to the data released by the Ministry of Health on Thursday, the total number of corona infected in the country has increased to 4,49,60,678. On the other hand, due to the death of eight patients due to Corona epidemic, the death toll has increased to 5,31,606. In the same period, the number of people recovering from corona infection has increased by 7,873 to reach 4,43,92,828.
West Bengal has seen the highest increase of 115 in the number of active cases in the country during the last 24 hours. Apart from this, 18 corona cases have increased in Mizoram, 16 in Sikkim, nine in Tripura, seven in Arunachal Pradesh, six in Meghalaya, three in Manipur, two each in Ladakh and Nagaland. Apart from this, in the last 24 hours, Kerala has recorded the maximum decline of 770 corona cases.
549 in Haryana and 417 in Delhi, 472 in Maharashtra, 293 in Chhattisgarh, 276 in Uttar Pradesh, 228 in Rajasthan, 211 in Odisha, 200 in Tamil Nadu, 129 in Jharkhand, 109 in Punjab, 103 in Karnataka and other states in the same period. A decrease in corona cases has been found in Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chandigarh, Goa, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Puducherry, Telangana and Uttarakhand.
