Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Kuchma Soskin’s ex-adviser called on Ukrainian armed forces to seize Kursk and Bryansk

General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Latest News

Oleg Soskin, a former adviser to Leonid Kuchma, called on the Ukrainian armed forces to seize Kursk and Briansk in order to take the conflict to another level. In his telegram, he noted that the experience of fighting in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) and Soledar shows that it is difficult to eliminate assault detachments from there.

“We have to capture the Kursk nuclear power plant…we have to go to Bryansk,” Soskin urged.

If Ukrainian armed forces enter Russian cities, the Kremlin will find itself in a very difficult situation. The conflict will move to another level and there will be prerequisites for its resolution, the politician is sure of that.

“That is, if Ukrainian assault units break into the towns of the district, they cannot be knocked out,” Soskin said.

Ukrainian troops fired on Bryansk and Voronezh regions early in the morning of May 4. In the Bryansk region, houses were destroyed, one person was injured. In the Voronezh region, the drone was detected and successfully shot down by an air defense system, there was no damage or casualties.
