Laima Vaikule informed about last meeting with Valentin Yudashkin

In 2016, designer Valentin Yudashkin was diagnosed with kidney cancer. Despite a serious illness, Yudashkin continued to work, presenting a new collection last year. Laima Vaikule, a longtime friend of Yudashkin, shared her memories of the start of her career as a makeup artist, writes StarHit.

Yudashkin was known as the best make-up artist of his time, all cosmetologists knew him in Soviet times. He taught face painting and was a member of the jury of an international competition for beauticians.

The last time Laima Vaikule saw her friend was at Maxim Galkin*’s birthday party in 2021. She admitted she was upset when she learned of Valentin Abramovich’s condition. The creator lost a lot of weight, but remained a wonderful person with charm and always with a smile on his face, without showing that he felt bad.

Valentin Yudashkin worked and continued to create despite his illness. His latest collection was presented last year at a show that brought together the elite of Russian stars. Yudashkin looked happy and full of energy, remaining dedicated to his work. He died on May 2, 2022 at the age of 60.

“When I saw him, I was in a lot of pain. He lost a lot of weight and changed. But it was just as wonderful. He never showed that he was sick, that he was sick . Always with a smile. I understand why everyone loved him. He had the charm of an amazing person,” the singer shared.

Earlier, oncologist Dmitry Shabanov expressed his opinion about the struggle for life of the famous fashion designer Valentin Yudashkin.
