In St. Petersburg, it is planned to recruit five people from each company for contract service in the armed forces in the special operations zone. The city needs to recruit one and a half times more people than what was called up as part of the mobilization. The exact figure is not disclosed.

It is planned to attract entrepreneurs with the help of a one-time cash payment in the amount of 500 thousand rubles, as well as a salary increase – 230-240 thousand rubles. The age of the servicemen does not matter, the troops are ready to accept even 60-year-old volunteers.

According to the tax authorities, employees of the military registration and enlistment office have already started checking whether all organizations keep military records. In two weeks, businesses in St. Petersburg must report the number of people sent to the inquiry point of the district administration.

“In the future, you will have to take into account which of you contributed to this work,” Fontanka said, citing district head Viktor Polunin.

Those who do not follow the plan will be asked to speak with members of the government and the governor of the city.

Earlier it became known that in Russia by the end of the year it is planned to recruit 400,000 contract soldiers. The information campaign to attract volunteers started on April 1st.
