UAV “Lancet” “blinded” Ukrainian anti-aircraft gunners in the Donetsk sector of the front

The calculation of the “Lancet” drone of a separate “Cascade” battalion disabled the 36D6 radar station. To defeat the equipment necessary for the operation of the air defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, operators used two wandering ammunition: the first “Lancet” hit a KrAZ tractor, and the second achieved the result by hitting directly on the radar of the system. .

As the authors of the video specify, the radar station was destroyed near Pokrovsk in the DPR. The distance to the line of contact here does not exceed 30 km. This suggests that the Ukrainian armed forces are forced to bring anti-aircraft systems closer to the front line to protect against Russian planes equipped with hovering bombs. However, at such a distance, air defense systems and radars themselves become an excellent target for Russian kamikaze drones.

Over the past month, more than 40 videos of Lancet drones hitting the Ukrainian Armed Forces have surfaced on the web. Among the trophies of the operators of these drones, the leadership is traditionally held by the towed American M777 howitzers. However, the focus is gradually shifting to enemy air defense systems.

In April, the Lancets disabled 4 launchers of S-300 air defense systems, Buk, Tor and Osa anti-aircraft missile systems, as well as several different radars. Judging by the newly released images, the hunt for lancets for the air defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces continues.
