Kiev: Russia claimed it foiled a drone attack on the Kremlin by Ukraine early Wednesday. At the same time, he called it an act of terrorism, calling it a failed attempt to assassinate President Vladimir Putin. A video shared overnight on a local Moscow news Telegram channel showed shots being fired from across the river near the Kremlin and smoke billowing from buildings. It is not possible to ascertain the veracity of the incident. According to the details provided with the video, residents of a nearby apartment building reported hearing smoke and hearing explosions around 2.30 am.
